Fushio Onsen is a natural radium onsen and Kinugake-no-Yu, an open-air garden bath with an abundant supply of hot water, is also highly popular. In June, natural Genji fireflies flit about the Kyuanji River flowing on the premises. Even as ayu cuisine is served in summer and various nabe dishes are prepared in winter, the famous peony nabe stew featured in the rakugo story entitled Ikeda-no-Inoshishikai is a real favorite among guests.
