Gensenkan is located along clear mountain stream in the gorge and blessed with abundant of hot spring waters. Gensenkan features four baths and milky-white or green hot spring water sourced from three different fountainhead. It is efficacy to neuralgia, rheumatism, hypertension, diabetes and atherosclerosis. Our hotel, Gensenkan, is located by a mountain stream in the Okushiobara-Motoyu Onsen area. We have access to several all natural water sources and have three different kinds of hot springs available. The hot spring waters have unique characteristics and can change color from green to milky white or black,depending on the weather. We also offer four different types of public baths, such as the open air bath, the large bath, the rock wall bath and the Japanese Cypress bath. We especially recommend the open air bath, which offers a view of the surrounding mountains and streams. These high quality sulfur hot springs will warm your body and mind. Enjoy the unique atmosphere of this hidden hot spring, at a ryokan (a Traditional Japanese Inn) that has been featured in numerous TV programs and magazines.

Take a bus from JR Nasu Shiobara Station bound for Shiobara Onsen. Get off at the last stop and 13 minutes by taxi.
