Helmed by a landlady, Ogiwarakan has been operating since it opened in 1903 pursuant to a motto of providing “accommodations defined by warm hospitality, local cuisine and spiritual relaxation and comfort." This ryokan is situated in the middle of the bustling Togura-Kamiyamada Onsen Resort and about 5 minutes walk from Chikumagawa, a river infused with poetic sentiment. The site is also convenient for strolling about the onsen district. Main bath and open-air bath are both popular for their efficacy in promoting smooth skin.
