Shunyokan is located commanding the Tachibana Bay and Mt. Unzen at the back side. The hotel was built in the early Showa era by the structure of wood which creates a warm atmosphere. It was renovated in 2000 and added barrier free room for elderly and physically challenged guest. The open-air bath was also renovated.

45 minutes by taxi from JR Isahaya Station. 60 minutes on bus from JR Isahaya Station bound for Unzen Koen and get off at Obama Onsen.
